Look Again

Is it only me? Or have we all had moments when we felt "un pretty"? Often times we wake up In the morning and look at our selves In the mirror and look for that mornings flaw or imperfection, and we immediately try to conjure up a solution for what we feel isn't "right". But what exactly is right? Is it what we see, or is it what others see? You ever ask your girlfriend "can you notice this little stain on my jacket?" your friend says "no, I didn't notice till you said something", and you still change your jacket. We do this all the time, yet at the end of the day; is it worth it?

At times women spend large amounts of money on makeup, clothing, and hair, but what some women don't realize is that they were beautiful before the added on "props". A common misconception is also that what you wear and apply to your face instantly improves your look, yet what some forget is it's not the clothing or makeup that makes the woman; it's the woman inside the clothing and makeup.

The mind is a beautiful thing, yet a dangerous thing as well. We cannot find sometimes what's "right" with us, yet we can always find something wrong. There are so many things in our lives that are constantly changing and yet even still there is beauty in all of this. As we age so does our face and body, and like all living things this is how life works. No matter how hard you try to fight it, we have to evolve, and we have to take care of ourselves.

When I say "take care of ourselves" I mean spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. You shouldn't have to invest all of your money into a "look" that will make you feel better. You should be doing that without spending money, and you can do this by already working with what you have. Take time to see the things that are beautiful about you, and never forget, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
