Quvenzhane Wallis, 11, scores Golden Globe nod for her work in Annie remake

Thursday morning, Quvenzhané Wallis scored a Golden Globe Award nomination for best actress in a musical or comedy film for her titular role in Annie.
The precocious 11-year-old faces tough competition against far more experienced actresses - Emily Blunt (Into the Woods), Julianne Moore (Maps to the Stars), Amy Adams (Big Eyes), and Helen Mirren (The Hundred-Foot Journey).
The 'modern re-imagining' doesn't hit theatres until December 19, but the Hollywood Foreign Press is already impressed with the charismatic child's performance as a streetwise foster kid from Harlem.
