Yet another new monthly feature we are excited to announce is our Book of the Month. Each Month we will provide you with a review of a book you may just want to add to your collection! This month our pick is by author Joulezy titled. Send it on. this book contains Short stories on the evolution of faith in love, vulnerability and freedom as a young girl takes on becoming a woman.
What we loved about the book: This book depicts many different stages of a young woman's life. It talks about many different issues young girls experience going into womanhood and what we face when trying to find ourselves. It contains stories of family struggles, dating and even tougher issues such as rape and depression. It takes you on a journey of the highs and lows in this young woman's life, some parts make you laugh and smile and others make you a little angry and sad. It was amazing how much we could completely relate to the stories being told.
What we didn't quite Love: There was a few grammatical and punctuation errors and sometimes the stories kind of flowed into one another making it more like chapters than individual stories. This is after all a self published booked and a first one from this author so the errors weren't too much of a surprise.
This book was an excellent quick read, definitely something you can add to your late summer reading list!
