Start A Conversation- Black Women, Racism and Media

A new web series titled Start a Conversation produced by InkSpot Entertainment, is tackling racism and how the media feeds societies perceptions about race. A panel discussion moderated by Dr. Shani Byard, Message Media Education, It does exactly what the title entails. I notes race talk becoming a trend amongst mainstream media, and although it has been the outcry over the past year for the world to take note that Black Lives do in fact matter, these mainstream media channels have manages to still  not center us in this conversation in a way that would be conducive to our progress. It's great to find media such as  Inkspot Entertainment that tells our narrative with our voice.

In this episode the topic is Black women and media

How can we collectively work together control the Black narrative in media, lets also start a conversation! Leave comments below.
